What is cold porcelain?
Cold porcelain is a sort of air-dried clay. Unlike classic "hot" porcelain it doesn't require being baked in the oven. It hardens on its own once it is exposed to air. The items you get, however, are not fragile. On the contrary, they are very flexible and elegant. Petals can be folded, and the stems can be bent.

Polymer clay is available in hand-made and art related stores. It is usually sold in packs of 150 to 200 grams (5-7 oz). It is naturally a whitish material that gets greyer when it dries up. In order to make items of different colors the clay is mixed with oil paints or dry dyes. Some items could also require some toning with paints or soft pastel.
Let's get acquainted!
My name is Lyuba. It's OK if you mispronounce this :D

I live in Vilnius. I make many interestings things out of cold porcelain and I also host live classes in a local studio. I like this kind of art so much, and I really love creating magic together with my students.

I'm always happy to see my clay veterans and get to know new people at my classes!

I believe that everyone can start creating with polymer clay with little to no effort. This is a very amusing and rewarding hobby!

You can also purchase video tutorials to start learning at home. My tutorials are very illustrative and detailed!
